Kondu Installs Solar Bank at Piura Airport

It aims to offer passengers a free and sustainable option for charging their electronic devices, taking advantage of the region's abundant solar radiation. Equipped with photovoltaic panels, the bench converts solar energy into electricity, providing a clean and accessible solution for airport users.

Augusto Llontop, general manager of the airport, emphasized that this initiative is another step towards achieving the terminal’s sustainability goals by promoting the use of clean energy and reducing its environmental footprint.

José Tierno, general manager of Kondu, will be in charge of the presentation ‘Energy Solutions for Industry’, as part of the activities of Peru Energy North 2024. During his speech, he shared Kondu’s vision on how innovative energy solutions can boost the sustainability of communities and industrial sectors in northern Peru, taking advantage of the country’s natural resources in an efficient and responsible manner.

This installation is part of Kondu’s strategy to consolidate its position as a benchmark in the use of clean and accessible technologies. Through this type of project, the company seeks to promote the use of solar potential in the northern regions of Peru, contributing to both local economic development and environmental protection.
