More than 3,000 students in Chilca benefit from educational infrastructure improvements driven by Kallpa

Interventions across six educational institutions included access to water, furniture, painting supplies, and protective measures against solar radiation

As part of its ongoing support for education and its “Back-to-School” campaign, Kallpa Generación carried out several interventions in schools across the Chilca district aimed at improving learning conditions, safety, and student well-being

Actions included the implementation of a water system at IE No. 20959 República de Suecia; the delivery of 28 double desks and painting materials at IE No. 2061 Papa León XIII; as well as paint supplies at IE Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, contributing to the maintenance of school facilities.

Additionally, Raschel mesh coverings were installed in early education institutions such as IE No. 548 Papa León XIII, IE Inicial Olof Palme, and IE No. 20135, home to more than 1,200 students to protect them from solar radiation.

In total, these initiatives benefited 3,141 students across six educational institutions, strengthening infrastructure, safety, and equipment, and promoting more suitable environments for the 2026 academic year.

Through these efforts, Kallpa Generación, operator of the Kallpa and Las Flores thermal power plants, reaffirms its commitment to educational development in its areas of influence, promoting better learning conditions through its Shared Social Management model, which involves civil society, the State, and the private sector.
