Beginning of commercial operations at our Sunny solar plant

In this first phase, the Nominal Capacity is 204 MW and will reach 325 MW once the second phase—already under construction—is completed. With CSF Sunny, our total capacity reaches 2,446 MW, and will later increase to 2,562 MW.

Since October 22, the COES – the Economic Operation Committee of the National Interconnected System – has authorized the commercial operation of the Sunny Photovoltaic Solar Plant, located in La Joya, Arequipa.

In this initial stage, Sunny contributes 204 MW of nominal capacity and will reach 325 MW upon completion of its second phase. With this new milestone, Kallpa brings its total installed capacity to 2,446 MW, strengthening its commitment to efficient, safe, and diversified generation that supports the country’s growth.

The commissioning of Sunny allows us to continue consolidating a generation portfolio that is efficient, safe, and diversified, aligned with the country’s needs and the signals of the market, reaffirming our leadership as Peru’s main power generation company.

We will continue driving the energy that moves Peru.
