As a result of the shared management implemented in the province of Huaylas, the Cañón del Pato Hydroelectric Power Plant, in alliance with the District Municipality of Huallanca and the Huaylas Norte Health Network, delivered complete dental equipment for the Huallanca District Health Center, in order to improve dental care conditions.
The contribution consists of a dental chair with compressed air compressor, a dental X-ray system and autoclave equipment for sterilization of implements. The equipment delivered means a great contribution to the health personnel of the medical center, since it contributes to improve the diagnosis and adequate treatment of their patients.
This contribution will make it possible to serve more than 600 people in the district of Huallanca and will also benefit referrals from the district of Yuracmarca and its hamlets, who will also be able to access quality dental services.
Luis Alburqueque, Social Responsibility Manager of the Cañón del Pato Hydroelectric Power Plant, emphasized that the model of Shared Social Management between the State, civil society and private enterprise allows the participation of all stakeholders in the search for solutions to improve the quality of life of the population in the province of Huaylas.
The equipment handover ceremony was held in the presence of the director of the Huaylas Norte Health Network, Dr. Yuri Carranza, the mayor of the district of Huallanca, Mr. Frank Quijandría, the Head of the Health Center, Tco. Enrique Acero, and representatives of the power generating company.
