A total of 83,000 Tayacaja inhabitants, distributed in 23 districts, will benefit with the acquisition of nine machines destined to strengthen the road infrastructure, tend to emergencies and dynamize local economy.
This equipment will arrive to Tayacaja through a partnership between the Hydropower Plant Cerro del Águila and Tayacaja’s provincial government through the work-for-taxes mechanism. The new units will be key for the maintenance of paths, attention towards natural disasters, and the transportation of agriculture products favoring directly the region’s producers.
“This machinery will allow the improvement of the communication paths, facilitate the transport of agricultural products and assure quick response in case of mudslides and landslides” signaled Luis Alburqueque, Social Management Manager at Kallpa.
The signing of the partnership took place in Proinversión, entity that was present during this investment process, that in addition to the acquisition of the machinery, includes the development of an environment to store all the equipment.
The Hydropower Plant Cerro del Águila confirms once again its commitment towards the development of Tayacaja and the Huancavelica Region, contributing to the prevention of emergencies and the promotion of activities that promote local economy.
