This new infrastructure has a modern 60KW electric station and two European standard CCS2 connectors, the most widely used in Peru at present. This development marks a significant step forward in the implementation of fast charging solutions that boost the use of electric vehicles in the country.
José Luis Vásquez, Manager of JMC, highlighted the importance of this project as a key pillar for the growth of electromobility: “At Gildemeister, we strongly believe in the transition to sustainable mobility. This alliance with Kondu is not only a commitment to the environment, but also to the development of a modern infrastructure that allows our customers to adopt electric vehicles from leading brands such as JMC, Hyundai and Volvo.”
The expansion strategy includes the installation of more fast-charging stations nationwide and collaboration with companies that have electric fleets, thus strengthening the electromobility network in Peru.
“We are seeing an important drive towards electromobility in Peru, as in addition to the benefits in emissions reduction, we find many operational and economic advantages for users; at Kondu, we are ready to help our customers, such as Automotores Gildemeister, meet their development goals,” said José Tierno, General Manager of Kondu.
