As part of its social responsibility management, Kallpa Generación, in alliance with the District Municipality of Chilca, started the "Crochet and macramé workshop", in order to broaden the knowledge and strengthen the technical skills of the beneficiaries of the program.
As part of its social responsibility management, Kallpa Generación, in alliance with the District Municipality of Chilca, started the “Crochet and macramé workshop”, in order to broaden the knowledge and strengthen the technical skills of the beneficiaries of the program.
This is an initiative implemented for the benefit of 55 women from the Chilca district. The social project will be developed over four months, during which the participants will learn crochet and macramé knitting techniques through on-site training given by expert teachers.
This program is a great opportunity for the women of Chilca to manufacture various garments and textile products for marketing, in order to generate their own income, and thus contribute to the welfare of their families and their locality.
In this regard, Luis Alburqueque, Social Responsibility Manager of Kallpa Generación, emphasized that the model of Shared Social Management between the State, civil society and private enterprise allows the participation of all key stakeholders responsible for contributing to the sustainable development of the district.
