Following the second edition of the 2025 Comprehensive Health Campaign, residents from the districts of Andaymarca, Colcabamba, and Surcubamba received medical care.

The initiative aims to bring medical services closer to the community in specialties such as General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, and Physical Therapy.

In line with its commitment to sustainable development and quality of life in its areas of influence, the Cerro del Águila Hydropower Plant, operated by Kallpa Generación S.A., carried out its second Comprehensive Health Care Campaign of 2025, benefiting families in the province of Tayacaja, Huancavelica.

The campaign took place in the districts of Andaymarca, Colcabamba, and Surcubamba, in coordination with the Tayacaja Health Network and local health posts. During this second edition, 1,780 medical consultations were provided to residents of the participating communities.

During the first half of the year, the health campaign reached 1,680 consultations, bringing the total to 3,460 medical services delivered in 2025 for residents of seven communities: Suilloc, Quintao, Jatuspata, Duraznuyoc, Pichiu, Llocce Huantaccero, and Capcas.

The initiative also included services in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, and Physical Therapy, along with the free provision of medication according to each patient’s diagnosis. “These campaigns reflect Kallpa’s commitment to the well-being of the communities near our operations. Our goal is not only to improve access to healthcare, but also to strengthen trust and sustainable human development in the region,” said Luis Albuquerque, Social Management Manager at Kallpa Generación.
