The initiative benefits outstanding public school students, who will receive comprehensive preparation for the UNMSM pre-university program.
Kallpa Generación has awarded a new round of 50 full scholarships through the “Beca Kallpa” program, aimed at fifth-year secondary students from public schools in Chilca. The beneficiaries will enroll in the special cycle of the Pre-University Center of the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM).
The scholarship recipients come from four public schools in the district: I.E. Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (CENSA), I.E. 20925 – 15 de Enero, I.E. 20959 – República de Suecia, and I.E. 6021 – Papa León XIII. All students were selected by their principals based on their strong academic performance and interest in applying to the programs offered by UNMSM at its Chilca campus.
“For Kallpa, education is a driver of development. Through this scholarship, we seek to support the effort and talent of young people in Chilca by providing them with tools that strengthen their preparation for university,” said Luis Alburqueque, Kallpa Generación’s Social Management Manager.
In addition to full funding for the program, the company will offer comprehensive support, including personalized tutoring, academic monitoring, soft skills development, and satisfaction surveys to evaluate progress.
Students who achieve the highest scores in the mock exams will also receive funding for the admission exam, reinforcing merit and their commitment to academic excellence.
“When we awarded the first Beca Kallpa to Luis Rodríguez in 2017, we began a journey that today allows us to see many young people become professionals and give back to their communities. That progress motivates us to continue strengthening this program,” added Alburqueque.
Through this effort, Kallpa reaffirms its ongoing commitment to supporting education in its areas of influence, promoting opportunities that contribute to the personal and professional growth of young people across the country.
