C.H. Cerro del Águila
Hydroelectric Power Station
The largest private hydroelectric power station in Peru. It was built in 3 years with an investment of approximately 1 billion US Dollars.
It was opened in 2016 in Huancavelica. It uses the water of the Mantaro river to generate power and relies on an 80-m-height dam that enables it to accumulate a larger amount of water and to gain altitude and thus increase our power. It also has a mini hydroelectric power station of 10 MW.
