Tourist Booths in Chilca Equipped with a New Solar Energy System Inaugurated by Kallpa

The initiative will improve visitor services and strengthen tourism at one of the district of Chilca’s main attractions.

Kallpa Generación, in partnership with the Municipalidad Distrital de Chilca, has installed a photovoltaic system at the tourist booths located in the area of Las Salinas, near Laguna La Milagrosa, with the aim of providing lighting in these key spaces for local tourism by harnessing solar radiation.

This initiative optimizes the use of the information booths, contributing to better guidance and service for tourists and visitors, enhancing the value of local tourist spaces, and offering a more organized and efficient experience at this important tourist site.

Representatives of the Municipalidad Distrital de Chilca, led by Mayor Félix Choquehuanca; the district’s Deputy Tourism Manager, Miguel Bernal; the representative of the Las Salinas seaside resort, Manuel Huapaya; and Kallpa’s Deputy Manager of Social Management, Eduardo García attended the inauguration ceremony.

All highlighted the importance of working together to strengthen tourism and showcase the locality’s natural attractions.

“At Kallpa, we promote actions that contribute to the development of the district of Chilca, supporting different sectors such as health, education, and in this case, the promotion of tourism in the district,” said Luis Albuquerque, Kallpa’s Social Management Manager.

Previously, Kallpa has installed solar-powered energy and lighting systems in community kitchens, the Fire Department facilities, the parish, and the Civil Construction Workers’ Union, thereby contributing to the improved operation of these important institutions in Chilca.

As a private company, Kallpa Generacion, reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable development of the district of Chilca and the strengthening of local tourism through initiatives that contribute to community well-being and improvements in infrastructure for visitors.
