Governance

The pillars of sustainability are
the driving force behind our initiatives,
and with a comprehensive approach
that includes environmental management,
social development and
transparent governance,
we are working toward
a more sustainable future.

Energy for a country on the move

We care about creating true sustainable value, where we can offer energy solutions to our customers, meeting the highest industry standards.

To this end, we work based on the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), focusing on these five essential pillars: leadership and governance, business model and innovation, environment, social capital and human capital.

Management pillars

We build trust with our stakeholders through our actions and the fulfillment of our commitments. We act with transparency, honesty and respect when we interact with our collaborators, in the implementation of our supply chain, in the relationship with our authorities and with the communities with which we work.

01

TRANSPARENT ESG

At Kallpa Generación, we continue to strengthen our ability to monitor and incorporate indicators that reflect the impact of our actions. Each year we strive to make our Sustainability Report more complete, transparent and aligned with the highest standards.

02

INTERNAL RULES

To ensure the sustainability of our business, we must achieve a long-term economic, social and environmental balance. For this reason, we have incorporated the ESG approach into our corporate governance structure and processes.

As part of this strategy, we periodically evaluate and update our internal policies and standards, and identify material ESG issues in our operations, risks and business opportunities. This allows us to manage, measure and report our performance and evolution in these aspects.

The Code of Conduct is the fundamental standard of our company’s corporate governance. It is based on our culture, purpose, aspiration and cultural principles. The Code sets out the expectations for conduct inside and outside the company, both with our employees and with all our stakeholders.

Whether as acting as employees, suppliers and contractors, we are all committed to act with transparency, honesty and respect at all times and places. In addition, we are all required to know and comply with our Code of Conduct, internal rules and applicable laws. See the updated version of our Code of Conduct.

03

COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

At Kallpa we are committed to act with transparency, honesty and respect at all times and places, as well as to know and comply with our Code of Conduct, internal rules and applicable laws in our country.

This system addresses the company’s relevant risks by demonstrating a firm commitment to comply with laws, regulatory standards, industry codes and commitments. Our Compliance Culture involves doing things the right way.

This Culture is built and strengthened through the actions and decisions of our collaborators, constituting a collective effort that requires commitment, effort and dedication on a daily basis.

Objectives:

  1. Fostering a culture of compliance
  2. Establish Corporate Governance standards
  3. Compliance with formal commitment
  4. Risk prevention
  5. Ensuring transparency and truthfulness

REPORTING CHANNELS - ETHICS LINE

Our company encourages good faith reporting and does not tolerate retaliation against those who in good faith make a report, report concerns or contribute to an investigation. The Ethics Line is a communication tool that allows us to prevent risks and correct situations. Through the Ethics Line, you can report or inquire about patterns or situations that are not aligned with our compliance conduct or that constitute irregularities or non-compliance, actual or potential, with our Code of Conduct, our Internal Standards or the law. It is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year and is managed by Navex, a global expert in reporting channels. It can be used by all company employees, customers, suppliers, contractors, shareholders, communities, governments and the general public.
